A quick guide for whatever brought you here — buying, selling, managing a lot, or hauling.
Ascending auction, just like eBay — highest bid wins.
Register with your email and verify it. Set your zip code once in your profile — it's what determines which listings you're eligible to bid on.
Each vendor sets a delivery radius. You'll only see "eligible to bid" on buildings within range of your saved zip — never typed per-bid.
Place a simple bid, or set a hidden maximum and let ShedBid raise it automatically to defend your lead, up to your limit. Your maximum is never shown to anyone.
Add a listing to your Watchlist for reminder emails as it nears closing. A bid placed in the final minutes automatically extends the clock a few minutes — so a last-second snipe can't quietly steal it.
Highest bid at closing wins (as long as it clears the vendor's reserve, if one is set — you'll only ever see "Reserve Met" or "Not Met", never the number). You and the vendor get each other's contact info to arrange payment and pickup/delivery directly.
List a building, set your terms, let bidders compete.
Submit a vendor application. Once approved, your account can publish listings without further per-listing review.
From your Vendor Dashboard, describe the building and add photos — on the ShedBid app, tap "Take Photo" right on the lot and post in seconds.
Starting price, an optional hidden reserve, an optional Buy It Now price, minimum bid increment, and how long the auction runs. Rent-to-own terms can be listed as information for buyers too.
Watch bids come in on your dashboard, including proxy-bid activity. You'll get emailed the moment someone bids.
When it sells, you get the buyer's contact info to settle payment directly — ShedBid never touches the money, just invoices your commission afterward. Need it hauled? Send it straight to the driver network for delivery bids without leaving your dashboard.
For dealers with factories and lots — manage your own org, no ShedBid staff needed.
As the company (HQ) manager, open Team & Locations from your dashboard and add your factories and corner/display lots.
Add a login for each person running a lot, and assign them to the lot(s) they cover — one person can manage several.
A lot manager only sees their own lot's listings. When they post a building, the lot's address fills in automatically — no retyping, no mistakes.
By default, lot managers publish straight to the live auction. Flip on Require Approval and their listings wait in a queue for HQ's OK before going live.
HQ's dashboard shows every lot's listings and sales in one place, while each lot manager only sees theirs.
A reverse auction — you bid the price down, lowest bid wins the job.
Log in at the driver portal (or the ShedBid app) with your driver account.
Each job lists pickup and delivery locations, building details, and the vendor's maximum budget — that's the ceiling you're bidding under.
Place your price to haul it. Other drivers can underbid you — the lowest bid when the job closes wins, unless someone takes the instant Buy It Now price first.
Win the job and you'll get pickup/delivery contact details. Complete the haul and you're done.
